lindalaynah This album sounds like home. I can't pick a favourite track because they're all so different and perfect in their own rough way. Favorite track: Someone Else's War.

Brett Marshall one day I was driving through morayfield when I saw what might be maybe the best business name i've ever seen. It was for a tile place next to the bruce highway and it was called "why not tiles". I thought "fuck me thats genius, to put the impetus on me the consumer to justify why tiles weren't the right choice for me" anyway I went home to my shitty share house I was renting for about half my weeks pay and ripped 50 cones to this album Favorite track: Hi Down.

I got no money I got no future plans I ain’t got no innocence and I don’t understand How we’re meant to be successful when success is always changing And we’re meant to follow rules when we don’t trust the people making them How do we go from A to B When the path that leads us there is killing me And I think these rules were made To keep us down and to keep them safe But if we don’t like the rules, or if we don’t find their god soon Or if we don’t follow suit, then it’s back to hell, to hell with us Too bad if you’re from a war-torn country Yeah too bad if you don’t come from money Too bad if you’re from a violent home Just keep it quiet, coz they don’t wanna know And they’re keeping up appearances and it’s taking all our time And they’re wasting all our resources just to keep us all in line So we can look impressive as a nation drawn together And hide our bloody heritage behind our sunny weather When in reality, we’re killing ourselves coz we’ll never be free We’re killing each other coz we’re living in fear That’s how they wanna keep us coz we’re easier to steer To the Centrelink lines, then to the front lines to do the dirty work, thank it’s back To the Centrelink lines, then to the front lines hoping that we all fall down, waiting In the Centrelink lines, then to the front lines to do the dirty work, thank it’s back To the Centrelink lines, then to the front lines hoping that we all fall down Fighting someone else’s war at our own expense Yeah it makes us look real cool in front of all our friends Fighting someone else’s war at our own expense Yeah it makes us look real cool in front of all our friends But if we don’t like the rules, or if we don’t find their god soon Or if we don’t follow suit, then it’s back to hell, to hell with us

Bender Song 02:19
If I could see your face just for one more day I would like to say don’t you go away Why did you have to go, now you’ll never know How I miss you so, I miss you so You mean the world to me, if you could only see You did not have to leave you should still be with me Why did you have to go, now you’ll never know How I miss you so, I miss you so I’ll always say don’t go away

When we lie in bed I want to give you head Put your soul in my mouth and let it all hang out When you look at me and your eyes start sparkling Then I know you feel the same way, yes you feel the same Can I give you head When I hold you close, it’s what I like the most With your running around running around all the time, then you stop and your mine My favourite time is in the morning or the evening when you’re all mine Can I give you head

I know I’m a drunk but what I lose I make up with love No DVOs I put bros before hoes and I’ll drink till shit comes out my nose I’ll light your cones when your hands don’t work Let’s get piss arsed drunk and twerk at work I’m a loser I know, I eat my boogers, I cry when I blow I can be pretty but it don’t mean a thing when there’s steaming turds on my tampon string I’ll light your cones when your hands don’t work Let’s get piss arsed drunk and twerk at work

Hi Down 02:38
Maybe we’re depressed, maybe we’re sick of feeling second best Maybe everything could change and we’ll wake up one day and we’ll all be just fine Yeah but maybe we’re just weak, maybe we just can’t see the sky from the trees Maybe we could rise above, but everything we love is surely going to die It’s a struggle taking day by day, it’s a struggle making any change We’re just walking left foot right foot up that hill, we can’t forget and never will And we all get high and we all get down Maybe we’re alone, maybe we should take our eyes off our phones Maybe if we all looked up, we’d loosen up that clutch that’s dragging us all down Yeah but maybe we’re just scared, maybe we’re lazy and we’re unprepared Maybe everything’s too hard and we’re sick of playing our part and we don’t wanna be around It’s a struggle taking day by day, it’s a struggle making any change We’re just walking left foot right foot up that hill, we can’t look back and never will And we all get high and we all get down

I'm a Dog 02:21
You’re gonna feel so lonely when you wake up on your own at 40 And your friends and your lovers and your family have all been pushed away by your juvenile hate But you could be right and I’m a dog You’re gonna feel so useless when you understand you’ve been so heartless I can’t wait to see your face on the day when you realise we all shit and love and piss and fuck like dogs But you could be right and I’m a dog You’re gonna say you’re sorry, but the damage has been done so don’t worry Just enjoy your empty bed at night and awkward dates at 45 and heating TV dinners just for one But you could be right and I’m a dog
